Our family began in August of 2008 when I married the love of my life, Garret. We were two nerds who loved adventure. We decided we wanted to expand our family in August of 2009, and after many months of struggling with infertility and miscarriage, we welcomed our beautiful daughter Lydia into our family in April of 2011.
Lydia is only the beginning. We have such a love for children and we hope to acquire at least 12 more (a bakers dozen.. who can argue with that ;) ) in anyway God allows us. Only a parent can understand the directional change ones life makes when they have their first child. Our adventures went from caving trips and zombie movie marathons, to wanting to show our daughter the world. Our lives revolve around her and I could not imagine anything less.
Things we love:
Outdoor adventures: camping, caving, hiking.Video games and other nerdy things.
Zombies: the apocalypse, guns, and general zombie chit-chat.
Being crunchy: recycling, upcycling, baby wearing, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, attachment parenting.
